Acquiesco
Acquiesco is Latin for to rest, to grow quiet, to settle back down.
Acquiesco listens for snoring and gently taps the snorer's Apple Watch, helping them change position just enough to quiet the snoring — before they're fully awake, and usually before the person they love wakes at all.
After all, sleep is sacred.

Silent cue
Wakes the snorer, not the bedroom
For both of you
Built for the snorer and the partner
Only your wrist feels the tap. You shift position, the snoring fades, and nobody had to elbow you awake.
Acquiesco interrupts the snore before it builds. Most nights you never know it happened.
Acquiesco does one job well: detect disruptive snoring, deliver a private cue, and step back as soon as you reposition.

Bring the Acquiesco iPhone and watch apps to the foreground (iPhone on the nightstand, charging) and that's it. The iPhone starts listening for snoring.

When loud noises are detected, Acquiesco notifies the watch, which silently vibrates to partially rouse the wearer. Vibration frequency and intensity step up only as needed until you tap the watch or shift position. Then Acquiesco backs off and keeps listening.
Other apps in this space focus on capturing and reporting what happened overnight. Acquiesco is built around the moment it matters — quieting the snoring before either of you wakes up.
Acquiesco was designed around a single promise: help in the moment without turning your bedroom into uploaded media.
Acquiesco analyzes sound on-device. It does not save audio clips of your night and does not upload audio anywhere.
There's no sign-up, no profile, and no cloud backup of your sleep. The app runs locally between your iPhone and your Apple Watch.
Apple Health write-back is optional. Sensitivity and timing are yours to tune. Delete the app and nothing follows you.
We built Acquiesco because we needed it in our own bedroom. We wanted a solution that did not mean sleeping in separate beds, relying on a nose strip, jumping straight to bulky equipment, or just accepting another interrupted night. A quiet wrist cue helped us keep the first intervention small, private, and immediate. Acquiesco solved a real problem for us, and we hope it can help you too.
No bedtime score, no judgment. Just the few facts that explain how the night went and how Acquiesco helped.

Acquiesco listens from your iPhone, hands the moment off to Apple Watch, and lets the snorer respond before a single sound reaches the other side of the bed. You both stay asleep.

Acquiesco is an iPhone and Apple Watch snoring app that listens for snoring in real time and sends a quiet wrist tap to the snorer, helping them change position before their partner wakes up. Audio is analyzed on-device and is not recorded.
Acquiesco is best for couples where snoring is positional and wakes a partner. It is not for diagnosing or treating sleep apnea, and serious symptoms such as gasping, choking, or daytime fatigue should be discussed with a clinician.
Acquiesco listens for loud snoring and sends a gentle haptic to your Apple Watch, prompting you to shift position. A small change in position is usually enough to minimize the snoring without either of you fully waking up.
No. Audio is analyzed on-device in real time. Acquiesco does not save recordings of your night and does not upload audio. The app exists to interrupt snoring in the moment, not to archive it.
An Apple Watch is strongly recommended. The wrist haptic is the quietest way to wake the snorer without disturbing their partner. The app can run iPhone-only, but the experience is best with a watch.
That's the whole point of the design. The cue is delivered to the snorer's wrist, not as audio in the room. In most cases the partner sleeps through it.
No. Acquiesco is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or monitor sleep apnea. If snoring is severe or paired with gasping, choking, or daytime fatigue, see a clinician.
On a nightstand roughly 2 to 4 feet from the bed, plugged in, in a reasonably quiet room. The closer and quieter the better.
Eligible new subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial. After the trial, Acquiesco offers monthly access for $4.99/month or yearly access for $39.99/year. The yearly plan is as low as 11 cents/night, based on 365 nights.
If a soft wrist tap is all it takes to minimize the snoring, Acquiesco can help you both sleep through the night.
